For the Youngest Fans

When brainstorming nursery decoration ideas, I was at one point set on doing an MLB mascot theme. I thought it would be absolutely adorable and pretty unique, especially for a girl's nursery. After lots of searching it was clear it wasn't going to be an easy task and I wondered whether it was a little too soon to be forcing a love of baseball on our daughter. So we settled for something more traditional... bunnies if you were curious :)

Although I resisted decking out her room with Phillie Phanatic and his friends, I did sign her up for the Philadelphia Phillies newborn club as soon as she arrived (okay so maybe a week or so later once I had recovered a bit!). For $40, you get a pretty cute welcome kit including a birth certificate, baby sneakers, a bib, special discounts and more. For details check out the official site here.

Even if you're not personally expecting a little one, a newborn fan club membership would make an adorable baby shower or newborn gift for a baseball-loving friend or family member who is! I did a little more research to see what other teams have to offer, and only a few offer a membership club specific to newborn fans:

The remaining teams don't offer a newborn membership (I think they should all probably get on this!), however all teams do offer some type of membership club for kids. Prices appear to vary from $20 to $30, and each membership has their own set of benefits including things such as replica jerseys, hats, ticket vouchers, store discounts and more... so check out the one for your team below!:

Is your child a member of any of these?
